Tuesday:
LA: We are reviewing grammar this week to prepare for a unit test on Friday.
HW - pg 358-359: 1-25 all
Reading: We are starting chapters 13-16 in Phantom Tollbooth. Our new vocabulary words are: beret, billow, cauldron, famine, furrow, infinity, melancholy, nuisance, pungent, strenuous.

Wednesday:
LA: Read pgs 518-521
HW - pg 519: 1-10 and pg 521: 1-10
Reading: Read chapter 13 in The Phantom Tollbooth.
New Speak-Up due Monday
Pretend you are a weather reporter. Give a 1 1/2 to 2 minute weather report. Use the worksheet to help gather information. You may use the newspaper, online, or the radio. You can use a visual aid (map, etc) to help you give your broadcast. Your worksheet and report is due on Monday, 5/2. Be creative and have fun!
